Men's tennis rolls to 9-0 win against Catholic
The Salisbury University men’s tennis team remained perfect on the 2017 season with a 9-0 win against visiting Catholic University of America on Friday, February 24. Salisbury swept the six singles matches, with Andrew Rainger notching a 6-0, 6-0 win with no Cardinal recording more than four games won. Patrick MacLean and Franklin Tiafoe each surrendered just two games in their victories. Garrett Malave earned a 6-1, 6-2 win… and Grant Hudson claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2. Freshman Colt Williamson won 6-3, 6-0 at the top singles slot. In doubles, Salisbury got three quick points, with Rainger and Malave claiming an 8-3 win while Williamson and Ian Siew won by the same score. The Sea Gulls return to action on Saturday, February 25, hosting Virginia Wesleyan College and Goucher College.
