YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its weekly tennis awards and Salisbury University freshman Daniel Albers was honored by the league as the Men's Co-Player of the Week, the first CAC award of his career.
Albers was 8-0 last week, collecting four wins at No. 1 doubles with partner senior Daniel Barnas. The closest the pair allowed any doubles team this week was an 8-4 match. Albers was also a perfect 4-0 in his No. 2 doubles matches, taking three wins by straight sets.
