The Sea Gulls won five of the six singles matches, but were forced to go three sets to claim two of the wins. Robinson went the distance at No. 6 earning a 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory and sophomore Giorgio Athans (Woolwich Township, N.J.) claimed a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles. Lupinetti, Barnas and Nottage won in straight sets.
