Kincaid repeats as CAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week

NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly conference athlete of the week awards and for the second time this season Salisbury University senior and No. 1 singles and doubles player Brendan Kincaid (Cambridge, Md./Cambridge-SD) was named the men's tennis recipient for the week of April 1.

For the week the Atlantic South region's No. 13 singles player was 5-0 in singles play (4-0 at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2) and 5-0 at No. 1 doubles for the Sea Gulls. This week Kincaid and his Gulls became nationally ranked for the first time in eight years, defeated No. 20 Christopher Newport University, 7-2, and completed a monumental upset over No. 10 University of Mary Washington 5-4.

The award is the third for the SU men's team this season, the most of any team in the CAC. For the season Brendan sports a 16-2 singles record and a 15-2 doubles record.
