KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-South Region Teams on Monday and Salisbury University had three players honored. Alex Eiben was named to the first team while Ryan Spadin and Trevor Brookhart received second-team accolades.
Eiben, an information systems major, landed on the first team with a 3.55 GPA. Spadin, a biology major, received second-team honors with a 3.93 GPA. Brookhart, an environmental studies major, also landed on the second team with a 3.38 GPA.
Student-athletes receiving Scholar All-Region recognition must have a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout their career, start more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contribute to their team, and be a junior or above in academic standing.
