MINNEAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men's soccer has been ranked No. 19 in the country in the latest D3soccer.com poll. The Sea Gulls received 308 points in the poll.
Sitting atop the poll is Trinity (Texas) University, which has 932 points and eight first-place votes. Rounding out the top-five is Kenyon College, with 886 points and one first-place vote, Tufts University, with 868 points and 10 first-place votes, Franklin & Marshall College, with 730 points, and Christopher Newport University, with 697 points.
This marks the second week in a row that the Sea Gulls have been ranked by D3soccer.com in its poll.
The Sea Gulls go on the road September 16, to take on Washington (Md.) College before starting a four-game home stand on September 19 versus Neumann University. The home stand will also commence the beginning of Capital Athletic Conference play for Salisbury, as it takes on York College of Pennsylvania on September 26.
