Sharpe earns ECAC South Co-Offensive Player of the Week honor

CENTERVILLE, Mass. -- Salisbury University senior Trevor Sharpe has been named ECAC South Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Cherry Hill, N.J., native recorded one goal and two assists in two Capital Athletic Conference victories this past week. On Wednesday, the Gulls defeated Marymount (Va.) University, 2-0, with Sharpe finding the back of the net late in the second half. Over the weekend, SU knocked off conference rival York (Pa.) College, in which the senior found classmate Elliott Crompton and junior forward Tanner East for two assists.

For the week, Sharpe totaled seven shots, three on goal.

Salisbury takes the pitch against new conference member Christopher Newport University on Wednesday, Oct. 23, for its next match. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m., from Newport News, Va.
