Men’s soccer holds at No. 16 in D3soccer.com poll

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Salisbury University men's soccer team remains No. 16 in the nation on the D3soccer.com poll that came out for the third week this season on Tuesday.

The Sea Gulls (5-1) played in one match the past week where they fell to now No. 7 University of Rutgers-Camden, 2-1. Salisbury remains at the top in the nation in three categories: total assists (18), goals (23) and points (64).

Remaining at No. 1 in the poll this week is Messiah College with 23 first-place votes while holding a 6-0 record. 

The Gulls are set to head on the road Wednesday to Woodbridge, Va., for a neutral-site matchup against Lynchburg College. The game is set to begin at 4 p.m. from Howison Park.
