Men’s soccer holds at No. 16 in poll

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Salisbury University men's soccer team remains No. 16 in the nation on the poll that came out for the third week this season on Tuesday.

The Sea Gulls (5-1) played in one match the past week where they fell to now No. 7 University of Rutgers-Camden, 2-1. Salisbury remains at the top in the nation in three categories: total assists (18), goals (23) and points (64).

Remaining at No. 1 in the poll this week is Messiah College with 23 first-place votes while holding a 6-0 record. 

The Gulls are set to head on the road Wednesday to Woodbridge, Va., for a neutral-site matchup against Lynchburg College. The game is set to begin at 4 p.m. from Howison Park.
