KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Salisbury University sophomore Larry Cornish has been named to the 2011 NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Division III Men's All-South Atlantic Region Second Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Cornish, the 58th all-region selection in Salisbury men's soccer history, started all 20 matches in the back this season, scoring two goals and one assist for five points. Cornish, a Salisbury, Md., native, scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Eastern Mennonite University in the Elmer Lord Classic on Sept. 4.

Cornish also picked up first team All-CAC honors this season.

SU (13-3-4) advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in five seasons and 10th overall in 2011. The Sea Gulls played to a scoreless draw with Neumann University but failed to move on in penalty kicks.
