SU sits at No. 25 in NSCAA poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Salisbury University men's soccer is No. 25 in National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top 25 poll, the organization announced Tuesday.

SU (13-3-3) defeated Frostburg State University, 3-0, in the CAC semifinals Wednesday before falling, 1-0, in the CAC Championship match to York (Pa.) College Saturday.

Catholic University of America came in at No. 24 with a 14-4-1 mark.

Messiah College (18-0-1) took over the top spot in the poll from St. Lawrence University (16-0-1). Christopher Newport University (17-0-1) stayed at No. 3 in the poll.

Salisbury was fourth in the South-Atlantic regional rankings, trailing just CNU, Rutgers University-Camden (16-2-2) and Ogelthorpe University (18-3-0).

Salisbury hosts Neumann University in an NCAA first round match at the SU Soccer Complex Thursday at 1 p.m.
