YORK, Pa. – The impending weather system that is expected to drop snow over much of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the country tomorrow morning has affected the Capital Athletic Conference men's soccer tournament, originally scheduled to begin on Saturday.
With the poor weather expected, Saturday's first-round games have been moved back to Sunday. While Salisbury University had already collected the regular-season title and top seed in the tournament, including a first-round bye, the Sea Gulls' semifinal game will also be moved. Originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, Salisbury will now host its semifinal match against the winner of Sunday's Wesley College/Frostburg State University match, on Wednesday afternoon at the SU Soccer Complex.
The championship match, to be played at Salisbury should the Sea Gulls win in the semifinal round, remains slated for Saturday, Nov. 5.
