YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday and Salisbury University sophomore Trevor Sharpe was named the league's Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Sharpe scored three goals, doubling his season total, including both tallies in a 2-0 win against Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday. Sharpe also scored in the Gulls' 2-2 draw with The College of New Jersey on Saturday.
Sharpe leads Salisbury with six goals in 2011, and is also best on the team with 12 points.
Salisbury will be back in action on Wednesday, hosting Wesley College at the SU Soccer Complex. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
