Men’s soccer up to No. 18 in NSCAA poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Salisbury University men's soccer team climbed to No. 18 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III top 25, the organization announced Tuesday.

Salisbury (6-2-1, 2-1-0 CAC) rose from No. 21 in last week's poll after defeating York (Pa.) College, 1-0, on Jeremy Moyer's 99th-minute golden goal on the road Saturday.

The top seven teams remained unchanged from last week's poll. St. Lawrence University (10-0-0), Messiah College (9-0-1) and Christopher Newport University (8-0-1) are the top three teams.

The Sea Gulls are also third in the South Atlantic regional rankings, behind CNU and Rutgers University-Camden (9-2-1).

SU returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Johns Hopkins University at 4 p.m., at the SU Soccer Complex.
