SU men’s soccer, Franklin & Marshall battle to 0-0 draw Sunday

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The No. 21 Salisbury University men's soccer team played No. 25 Franklin & Marshall College to a 0-0 draw at the Seahawk Classic hosted by St. Mary's (Md.) College on Sunday.

The tie is the first of the season for both teams as SU moves to 4-0-1 while F&M is now 2-1-1.

Seniors Ian Wilson and Morgan Hunt as well as sophomore Jake Perry each recorded three of the Sea Gulls' game-high 22 shots. Salisbury also led in corner kicks, 9-4.

Junior John Vnenchak made 10 saves in the Salisbury net and Zach Fernberger stopped seven shots for Franklin & Marshall.

The Sea Gulls are back in action on Saturday at the University of Mary Washington at 2 p.m.
