Lambert named a NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men’s NCAA Division III second-team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Salisbury Univeristy men's soccer senior defender Justin Lambert was recently named a 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Performance Subaru Men's NCAA Division III second-team All-American.

The SU men's soccer program now has 12 total All-Americans in the 77-year history of the program.

Lambert had a strong senior season in which he played and started in 17 games and was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference first team for the first time in his two-year career at Salisbury. The Silver Spring, Md., native was recently named to the NSCAA first-team All-South Atlantic Region team. Lambert was a defensive stalwart for the nation's 18th best defense, as the SU defense limited opponents to just 0.52 goals per game. This season the maroon and gold collected 12 shutouts and went on an 848-minute scoreless streak over several weeks of the season.

Lambert served as a distributor on the offensive end for Salisbury, as he dished out five assists in 2010. For his career, Lambert played in 37 total games and finished with 14 points on three goals and eight assists.
