Sea Gulls ranked No. 20 in the nation
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Salisbury University men's soccer team is currently ranked No. 20 in the nation as this week's NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Top 25 poll was released on Tuesday. This is the fourth consecutive week that Salisbury (7-1-1) has been nationally ranked.
The maroon and gold are currently ranked No. 3 in the South Atlantic Region according to the NSCAA polls, and are No. 9 nationally in the D3soccer.com media poll.
As the Salisbury University women's team broke into the rankings this week, at No. 19 in the nation, it marks the first time in the 2009 season that both soccer programs are ranked nationally.
The men's team will be back in action as it hosts CAC rival Wesley College on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m.
