Sea Gulls jump eight spots in national rankings, sit at No. 16
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Salisbury University men's soccer team jumped eight spots to No. 16 in the nation, in this week's NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Top 25 poll, released on Tuesday. The Sea Gulls (14-2-1, 7-0-1 Capital Athletic Conference) were previously ranked 24th in the nation.
Salisbury's last victory came on Oct. 24, when the Sea Gulls took down CAC opponent Mary Washington, 1-0. The maroon and gold's perfect conference record earned them a first-round bye in the CAC tournament.
The Sea Gulls will face CAC foe Stevenson University today, at the SU Soccer Complex, in a CAC semifinal match. If they are victorious, the maroon and gold will play for the CAC Championship on Saturday, Nov. 7.
