PERRY, N.Y. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its latest Division III Coaches Poll on Monday afternoon and Salisbury University climbed back into the top 10, moving up two spots to No. 9 in the nation.
The Sea Gulls earned 219 points in the latest poll, following a week in which they topped No. 17 Christopher Newport University and then-No. 5 Cabrini University in a pair of one-goal victories.
Cabrini dropped to No. 8, and is just eight points ahead of the Sea Gulls.
The top three teams remain unchanged from a week ago with Rochester Institute of Technology holding at No. 1 with 360 points and all 19 first-place votes, while York College of Pennsylvania (335 points) and Tufts University (328) hold in their spots from last week. Gettysburg College moved up two spots to No. 4 with 321 points, while Wesleyan (Conn.) University dropped one place to No. 5 with 290 points.
The Sea Gulls will be back in action next Saturday, April 14 traveling to the University of Mary Washington with that game beginning at 1 p.m.
