DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference released weekly lacrosse awards on Wednesday afternoon for the week ending March 11. Salisbury men's lacrosse sophomore goalkeeper Brandon Warren earned recognition from the organization being named the ECAC Men's Lacrosse Division III South Defensive Player of the Week.
Warren picked up the first two wins of his collegiate career last week in his first two starts including a win over nationally ranked No. 15 Stevenson University. Warren totaled 11 saves in the two wins while only allowing a combined eight goals.
For the season Warren has appeared in four games totaling a save percentage of 59.1 while recording a goals against average of 4.99.
Salisbury returns to action on Saturday, March 17 when it hosts Eastern Shore rival Washington College. Face-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
