Honors continue to come in for Garbarino after 13 goal, three assist week

PERRY HALL, N.Y. Men's lacrosse senior Nick Garbarino has been named the BSN Sports / United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association South Region's Offensive Player of the Week, the USILA announced Wednesday.

Garbarino and the Sea Gulls went 3-0 last week with the Binghamton, New York native posting 13 goals and three assists for 16 points. He scored at least four points in every game and put up seven goals against Capital Athletic Conference opponent Southern Virginia University. He capped off his week with a four goal, one assist game against No. 18 Roanoke College. Garbarino notched his 13 goals on just 19 shots for a 68.4 shooting percentage. This is Garbarino's third honor following his impressive week as he was also named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday and the Corvais Eastern College Athletic Conference South Region Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Salisbury is in action later today, March 29 with a road game against Wesley College. Faceoff is set for 4 p.m.
