DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced its 2015 Division III Mid-Atlantic Men's Lacrosse All-Star Teams on Monday, and Salisbury University had four players named to the first or second team. Senior Knute Kraus was also honored as the Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Kraus led Salisbury's second-ranked scoring defense, which only allowed 5.82 goals per game on the season and was named to the ECAC first team. He paced the team with 29 caused turnovers on the season, while finishing fourth on the team with 50 ground balls. Kraus started all 22 games for the Sea Gulls this season.
Junior Thomas Cirillo was also named to the ECAC first team, after finishing the season second on the team with 62 points. He played in all 22 games this season and finished second on the team with 42 goals and 20 assists, while leading the Gulls with 12 man-up scores. The man up tally ranked sixth in the country.
Wallace appeared in all of Salisbury's 22 games and finished the year second on the team with 28 caused turnovers, while adding 40 ground-ball pickups.
Dabbs also played in all 22 games, leading the team's defensive midfield. He ranked fourth on the team with 25 caused turnovers, while adding 20 ground balls. Dabbs also added seven points on one goal and six assists on the year.
