Sea Gulls ranked No. 8 in final Lacrosse Magazine rankings

BALTIMORE – Lacrosse Magazine announced its final Nike/LM Division III top 20 rankings for the 2015 season, and the Salisbury University men's lacrosse team ends the year at No. 8 in the country.

The Sea Gulls moved up two spots to eighth after advancing to their 27th-straight NCAA Division III tournament quarterfinal game, before falling to No. 2 Lynchburg College. Salisbury ends the year with a 17-5 overall record and an 8-0 record in the Capital Athletic Conference, on the way to the program's 19th CAC championship.

National champion Tufts University took over the No. 1 spot, moving up from No. 6, while national runner-up Lynchburg jumped from No. 5 to No. 2. The top five was rounded out by No. 3 Rochester Institute of Technology, No. 4 Gettysburg College, and No. 5 Amherst College.
