BALTIMORE - Lacrosse Magazine recently announced its 2014 Division III All-Americans and the Salisbury University men's lacrosse team was represented by two of its defensive players, as senior Josh Martin and sophomore Preston Dabbs were named to the team.
Martin, a defender, finished third on the squad with 25 caused turnovers and picked up 25 ground balls. The Niskayuna, N.Y., native started each contest for the Sea Gulls this season.
Dabbs, a short-stick midfielder, caused 19 turnovers and picked up 16 ground balls.
Both individuals played a key role in one of the nation's top defenses. Salisbury allowed 6.57 goals per game this year, good for 14th in the nation.
