Sea Gulls hold the No. 4 spot for the latest Lacrosse Magazine and USILA Poll

BALTIMORE—The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team remain in the top five for this week's NCAA Division III United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll and Lacrosse Magazine's ranking, the organizations announced on Monday.

The Sea Gulls (3-0) stay No. 4 due to a dominating win against Widener University, 11-3, on Saturday. Junior attackman Mike Kane posted a game-high three goals and four assists to lead Salisbury past the Pride. SU's defense gave a shut-down effort only allowing one goal after the first quarter.

Rochester Institute of Technology takes the No. 1 spot in both polls after defeating Stevenson University, 15-14, in overtime. With the loss, Stevenson falls one spot to No. 2 in the Lacrosse Magazine's ranking and No. 3 in the USILA poll. After defeating Albright College, 12-4, State University of New York at Cortland placed No. 3 in the Lacrosse Magazine's ranking and No. 2 in the USILA poll.

Salisbury will host McDaniel College at Sea Gulls Stadium on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3:30 p.m.
