Sea Gulls ranked No. 4 in the nation in second regular-season USILA poll

BALTIMORE, Md. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its second regular-season coaches' poll on Monday and Salisbury University still finds itself ranked No. 4 in the nation. The Sea Gulls received 238 points, falling just behind No. 3 Roanoke College (242 points) and No. 2 Stevenson University (264 points).

There was a big shake-up this week as defending NCAA champion SUNY Cortland lost to Gettysburg 7-5 in a rematch of last year's NCAA Division III national championship game. The Bullets are the new No. 1 team in this week's poll, while SUNY Cortland rounds out the top five with 232 points.

Salisbury is coming off of a 12-6 victory against the Green Terror of McDaniel College. The maroon and gold's next game will be on the road, against defending NCAA national champion SUNY Cortland, on March 10 at 3:30 p.m.; the contest will be played in Haverford, Pa. Following that contest the Sea Gulls will be hosting four straight home games, starting with Ohio Wesleyan on March 13.  That game is set to start at 1 p.m.
