Time change for SU Men's Lacrosse game at Widener on Saturday

SALISBURY, Md. - The No. 4 Salisbury University men's lacrosse team's game at Widener University scheduled for 1 p.m. this Saturday, has been moved up one hour to noon. The reason for the switch in the game time is an unplayable surface on the women's lacrosse field at Widener. The SU game is the first of two games being played at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium on Saturday. The Widener women will host Immaculata at 3 p.m.

The Sea Gulls (2-0) are coming off a 14-9 victory over No. 19 Lynchburg College on Saturday at Sea Gull Stadium. The Pride (0-1) played its season opener Sunday, falling to Capital Athletic Conference member Stevenson University, 15-3.

The last time Salisbury traveled to Widener was March 1, 2008, with the Gulls prevailing 19-3. In the win, current SU seniors Mike Winter (Port Washington, N.Y.) and Will Poletis (Baltimore, Md.) each scored a goal.
