Lashawn Tucker enters his first season with Salisbury University men’s basketball team. Tucker is no stranger to the maroon and gold as he was a member of the 1994 Salisbury men’s basketball team.
Tucker has over 16 years of High School, Middle School, and Elementary coaching experience. Areas of expertise include individual/team training, camp directing, community organization, team building, sports management, marketing, team and individual sports programming. He is the founder of the Dream Big Think Big Play Big Co-ed Skills Clinic that started in 2015 and is the co-founder of Eastern Shore Basketball League that has successfully run for 17yrs, which includes semi-pro players/former high school standouts established to promote “Community Unity” reducing crime rate by 38%.
Tucker has most recently spent time as the coach of Parkside High School from 2016 to 2017. He also is currently serving as a coach/trainer with DMV Elite in Bowie, Md.
