Two earn all-CAC recognition; Barcikowski named to first team

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference released the 2018 All-CAC Men's Basketball Team on Wednesday morning. Two Sea Gulls earned conference recognition as Chad Barcikowski and Blair Davis were each named to the All-CAC team.

Barcikowski earned All-CAC honors for the first time in his career being named to the first team after an outstanding senior season. Barcikowski played in all 27 games for the maroon and gold making 26 starts this season averaging 16.6 points per game, which ranked him sixth in the CAC. He also posted a field goal percentage of 40.5 while knocking down 35 percent of his three-point attempts.

For his career, Barcikowski finished in the top 10 in two categories, three-point field goals and three-point percentage. Barcikowski knocked down 162 of his three-point attempts good enough for seventh-place while converting on 37.1 percent of his attempts, which ranks him 10th all-time in program history.

Joining Barcikowski on the all-conference team was Davis, who was named to the second team in his first season with the maroon and gold. The junior averaged 10.3 points per game in 2017-18 while posting a field goal percentage of 40.4. He also finished fourth in the conference in assists per game with an average of 3.7.
