  • Sea Gulls hold on to defeat Eagles

    The Salisbury University men's basketball team traveled to the University of Mary Washington on Saturday afternoon to take on its Capital Athletic Conference rivals, the Eagles. The Sea Gulls saw a 15-point second half lead eliminated in the closing minutes, but they were able to hold on and pull out the 70-66 victory.

    The Salisbury University men's basketball program took on the Saints of Marymount (Va.) University on Wednesday night in a CAC showdown. The Sea Gulls defeated the visiting Saints 65-58 behind Chad Barcikowski's 14 points and 5 rebounds.

    The Salisbury University men’s basketball team hosted Pennsylvania State University Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup. The Sea Gulls defeated the visiting Lions by the final score of 76-60 with the help of Braedon Dorsey’s 16 second half points.
  • Men's basketball drops CAC opener at Christopher Newport

    The Salisbury University men’s basketball team opened Capital Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night against No. 17 Christopher Newport University. The game was a rematch of last season’s CAC championship, which the Captains claimed on a buzzer-beater by the final score of 63-62. Christopher Newport edged the Sea Gulls 71-66 in the conference opener.

    The Salisbury University men's basketball team traveled to Goucher College on Saturday afternoon and defeated the Gophers 92-50. The Sea Gulls forced 26 Goucher turnovers, scoring 33 points off those turnovers.

    The Capital Athletic Conference released the 2017-18 men’s basketball preseason poll on Tuesday morning. Salisbury University finished tied for third with the University of Mary Washington garnering 57 total points.
