Jeter named to All-CAC First Team

YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its all-conference team for men's basketball on Monday, and for the third year in a row, Salisbury University has garnered a first-team selection with junior Gordon Jeter earning the honor.

Jeter has scored 13.6 points per game this season while pulling down seven rebounds per contest, which ranks fifth in the CAC. An inside-out threat on the offensive end, Jeter is hitting 47.9 percent of his shots from the floor and connecting on 34.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc.

He has been good for 1.8 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game thus far in the 2015-16 season.

This is Jeter's second CAC yearly award, having been named the league's Rookie of the Year following the 2013-14 season. The Easton, Maryland native is the 26th CAC first-team member for Salisbury.

The Sea Gulls await word on Monday afternoon whether the team will play in the NCAA Division III tournament. The selections will be announced during a live webcast on NCAA.com beginning at 12:30 p.m.
