A 6-foot-3 guard from Frederick, Md., Vann led the team with six double-doubles and poured in a career-high 36 points at Gallaudet on Nov. 23 and grabbed a career-best 18 rebounds twice, at Wesley College on Feb. 16 and Lycoming on Nov. 17.
Vann scored his 1,000th career point in a CAC tournament first-round win over York (Pa.) College Feb. 19. He finished with 1,038 after scoring 564 in three seasons at Division II California (Pa.) University.
Vann was joined on the ECAC Division III All-South squad by CAC foes Paul Reynolds of Wesley, who earned Player of the Year and first-team recognition, and Christian Jackson of Frostburg State University, also a first-team selection.
Salisbury (19-8) advanced to the CAC tournament semifinals as the third seed, falling to Wesley, but had its most wins since the 1996-97 season.
