YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its men's basketball awards for the 2011-12 season on Tuesday and Salisbury University senior Mike Maczko was named a member of the second team.
The Bel Air, Md., native was one of two players on the roster to have started all 25 games this season and led Salisbury in scoring with 12.5 points (tied for 11th in the CAC) and 7.2 rebounds (tied for fourth) per game.
Maczko's selection by the CAC coaches marks the eighth consecutive year that at least one Salisbury player has been selection to the All-CAC squad.
Maczko closed out his career with 869 points over three years in maroon and gold, averaging 11.3 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per contest. He scored a career-best 25 points in a game at Juniata on Nov. 20, 2010.
