YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its men's basketball all-conference team on Tuesday and Salisbury University senior center Chris McGrew was honored.

The Burtonsville, Md., native was named to the All-CAC first team, marking the first time in his three seasons with the Sea Gulls he has garnered the distinction. This marks the seventh consecutive season that Salisbury has had a player honored on the All-CAC team.

McGrew had a career season in his final campaign with the Sea Gulls, as he scored 454 points and grabbed 162 rebounds, which were both career-highs. Offensively, the senior was a force for the maroon and gold, as he recorded double-digit point totals in 23-of-27 games, captured two double-doubles and finished with a .637 field-goal percentage (167-of-262). McGrew also finished with 26 assists, grabbed 25 steals and blocked 23 shots.

McGrew recently entered the 1,000-point club, as he scored a career-high 34 points in his final collegiate contest. He was the 30th player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau. Currently he is ranked 28th in program history in scoring, with 1,004 career points.
