Basketball games at Washington (Md.) College postponed

SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University men's and women's basketball doubleheader scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19 at Washington (Md.) College has been postponed. No make-up date has been set at this time.

The games have been postponed due to an impending storm that is expected to affect the Mid-Atlantic Region, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Friday night and throughout the day on Saturday with a rain/snow/sleet mixture which could lead to dangerous travel conditions.

This was the last scheduled action for the Sea Gull teams until 2010. The women will be back in action on Jan. 2, 2010 when they travel to Christopher Newport University; the men will be back at Maggs Physical Activities Center for their next contest on Jan. 4, 2010, when they host Virginia Wesleyan College.
