Former Sea Gull Palmer signs with Louisiana United of the ABA
SALISBURY, Md. – The Louisiana United of
the American Basketball Association (ABA) has announced the signing
of former Salisbury University guard Greg Palmer to the team.
At Salisbury, Palmer was a stalwart performer as he earned numerous
individual accolades for his performance on the court. The
Salisbury, Md., native played in 83 career games with 71 starts
while averaging a staggering 30.4 minutes per game. Palmer averaged
15.0 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game and owns a career
free-throw percentage of 85.5 percent. For his play, he was named
to the All-Capital Athletic Conference teams three times in his
career, including a first-team honor for the 2009-10 season.
Following the 2008-09 campaign, Palmer was named a National
Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American after
being nominated by SU Strength and Conditioning Coordinator

Nein.
The United will be playing its inaugural season in the American
Basketball Association and is set to compete in the Gulf Coast
division of the ABA. The United will open the season on Friday,
November 12 with a weekend series in Dallas.
