Palmer named to ECAC All-South Region third team

CAPE COD, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference released its men’s basketball All-Region teams on Wednesday and Salisbury University senior Greg Palmer (Salisbury, Md.) was honored as a third-team selection in the South Region.

Palmer was named a first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference selection this year after he finished fourth in the league with 18.2 points per game. The award caps a stellar career in which Palmer averaged 15 points per game. He scored 1,248 points in his career, putting him in 14th place on the program’s career scoring list. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds over his career and dished out 128 assists.

The Salisbury, Md., native closed out his career as a three-time All-CAC selection. This is the first All-Region award for Palmer.
