Palmer selected to All-CAC second team

NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Salisbury University men's basketball sophomore guard Greg Palmer was recognized for his performance on the court this season as he was selected to the All-Capital Athletic Conference second team.

The Salisbury, Md., native led the Sea Gulls in four offensive categories; scoring average (17.1 points per game), points scored (410), field goals made (157) and three-point shot percentage (.415) in 24 games. Palmer was one of only two sophomores selected to one of the two All-CAC teams.

The Salisbury Christian High School graduate led the Gulls in their upset of top-seed York (Pa.) College in the CAC tournament quarterfinals. He scored a team-high 23 points in the upset of the Spartans. Palmer showed tremendous improvement over last season where he only saw 21 minutes of playing time in eight games where he recorded three points.
