Mar 6, 2008 Palmer selected to All-CAC second teamNORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Salisbury University
men's basketball sophomore guard Greg Palmer was
recognized for his performance on the court this season as he was
selected to the All-Capital Athletic Conference second team.
The Salisbury, Md., native led the Sea Gulls in four offensive
categories; scoring average (17.1 points per game), points scored
(410), field goals made (157) and three-point shot percentage
(.415) in 24 games. Palmer was one of only two sophomores selected
to one of the two All-CAC teams.
The Salisbury Christian High School graduate led the Gulls in
their upset of top-seed York (Pa.) College in the CAC tournament
quarterfinals. He scored a team-high 23 points in the upset of the
Spartans. Palmer showed tremendous improvement over last season
where he only saw 21 minutes of playing time in eight games where
he recorded three points.
