Farrace named CAC Defensive Player of the Week

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference released weekly honors for the week ending September 16 on Monday afternoon and Salisbury University field hockey goalkeeper Dom Farrace earned conference recognition as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week for her outstanding performance in cage.  

Farrace helped the Sea Gulls to a 2-0 week, posting shutout victories over Washington (Md.) College and Cabrini University. Farrace totaled four saves for the week while earning the win in both contests.

For the season, Farrace has appeared in five games totaling 328:27 minutes played, allowing just three goals for a goals-against average of 0.64, while tallying 13 saves for a save percentage of .813.

Salisbury returns to action on Wednesday, September 19 when it travels to Johns Hopkins University. The match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
