Quillen, Hurm named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction
After picking up the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award and having 16 student-athletes named to the National Academic Squad the Salisbury University field hockey team has more to celebrate as junior Haley Quillen and freshman Anna Hurm were each named Scholars of Distinction on Wednesday.

Field hockey awarded SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award; 16 Sea Gulls named to Academic Squad
The Salisbury University field hockey team's season may have ended in November but the team is still being recognized not only for what it does on the field but also what it accomplishes in the classroom. The field hockey team has been awarded the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award. Along with the team award, 16 players were named to the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.
