SU field hockey opener vs. Hood postponed

FREDERICK, Md. - The field hockey season opener between No. 2 Salisbury University and Hood College scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, at 5 p.m. has been postponed due to poor field conditions in Frederick, Md. A makeup date is not currently available and will be announced at a later date.

The Sea Gulls will next look to begin their season against another Capital Athletic Conference foe St. Mary's (Md.) College this Saturday, September 6, at 2 p.m. on the road in St. Mary's City, Md.

Salisbury's home opener will be next week on Wednesday, September 10, at 6 p.m. The Sea Gulls will host No. 10 Christopher Newport University at Sea Gull Stadium.
