McGovern led the No. 10 Sea Gulls (12-3, 6-0 CAC) to victories
over Stevenson University and University of Mary

Stevenson. The Yorktown Heights, N.Y., native scored a
goal and tallied one assist in last Saturday's
4-1 victory over the Eagles. She now has two goals, four assists
and eight points on the season.
McGovern is the third Salisbury player to receive CAC Player of
the Week honors this season. Junior Lauren Correll
received the honor for September 29 and sophomore Kandice
Hancock was the recipient for September 15.
The Gulls will close out their regular-season schedule at
home on Wednesday, October 29, at 6 p.m. against Catholic
