Pipich earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors

PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference released weekly football honors on Sunday morning and Salisbury University senior quarterback Frank Pipich Jr. found himself among those recognized by the conference for his standout play over the weekend as he was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Pipich turned in a remarkable performance on Saturday against No. 6 Frostburg State University as he made his first collegiate start. Pipich accounted for 220 total yards, rushing for a team-best 189 yards on 30 carries, throwing for 31 yards, while accounting for three scores including two rushing touchdowns of three and 80 yards.

For his efforts, Pipich was named Salisbury's Mike McGlinchey Most Valuable Player for the game. He is also the second Sea Gull to earn offensive player of the week honors this season.
