Lanham named NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week for second time

PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its weekly football awards for the first week of the postseason and Salisbury University freshman Jack Lanham was named the league's Offensive Rookie of the Week.

In Salisbury's game against Ithaca College in the Scotty Whitelaw Bowl at the ECAC D3 Football Fest, hosted by the Eastern College Athletic Conference, Lanham got his first career start.

Lanham piloted the Salisbury offense to 17 points, while throwing for 47 yards and rushing for 28 more.

This is Lanham's second offensive rookie of the week honor from the NJAC, also collecting the award on October 29.
