Football Bull Roast moves to campus

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University football team's annual Bull Roast has a new home and a new date for this year, being held on campus, in the new Guerrieri Academic Commons, and moving into the season, scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 28.

The event gives fans a chance to get an up-close look at the program, spending time with Head Coach Sherman Wood and other members of the coaching staff. With the new in-season date, attendees will get information on the current team, and early reactions from the coaching staff on their game against Rowan University, which is being played earlier in the day at Sea Gull Stadium.

The evening, which goes from 6 to 10 p.m., will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Academic Commons and includes dinner, beverages, auctions, and the biggest prize of the evening the reverse raffle with the grand prize of a trip to an Atlanta Falcons home game next season, including airfare, game tickets and two night's accommodations in Atlanta. The prize has been graciously donated by Super Bowl Head Coach Dan Quinn '94.

Registration for the event is reduced this year, at just $55 per individual or $100 for a couple. Young alumni will also receive a discounted rate at $45 per person or $80 per couple. Sponsorships are also available.
