PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its preseason coaches' poll for football on Tuesday and Salisbury University has been picked to finish third in the league.
The Sea Gulls only trailed first-place Wesley College (eight first-place votes) and Frostburg State University (two first-place votes) in the poll after finishing in third in 2016.
Rowan University, Kean University, Christopher Newport University, Montclair State University, Southern Virginia University, William Paterson University, and The College of New Jersey, respectively, round out the league's predicted order of finish for 2017.
The new campaign is slated to begin for the Sea Gulls on Friday, September 1 at Albright College.
