Carter, Bohanan named BSN All-Americans

LEESBURG, Va. – The Beyond Sports Network announced its 2013 Division III football All-Americans and Salisbury University seniors Andre Carter and Mark Bohanan were named to the teams.

Carter was named to the BSN All-American First Team, after a season in which he picked off six opposing passes, knocked down nine more and recorded 48 tackles. The cornerback finished his career second in program history with 16 interceptions, which ranks second in program history.

Bohanan was named a BSN All-American Honorable Mention selection after leading the Salisbury offense to the 10th-highest rushing average in the nation this season. Bohanan, Salisbury's starting center throughout the season, helped the Sea Gulls to 283.5 rushing yards per game, which led the Empire 8 Athletic Conference.

Each player was named to the D3football.com All-Region Team and All-Empire 8 First Team and Carter was named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year.
