Cynewski named again to D3football.com Team of the Week
MINNEAPOLIS - Senior defensive end Paul Cynewski was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after his performance in last Saturday's 39-15 Homecoming victory against Lake Erie College. This is the second time this season Cynewski has earned this defensive honor as he was the recipient for September 25.
The Moorestown, N.J., native registered six tackles on the day and a career-high four sacks for a loss of 30 yards against the Storm. He currently leads the team with tackle for loss yards (73) and is second on the team with seven sacks in seven games.
The previous D3football.com Team of the Week honorees includes Jarrell Chandler (defense) for October 16 and September 11. Matthew Bookard (defense) for September 18, and the SU offensive line of Josh Berman, Jeremy McKinney, Bryan Burdalski, David Preston, and Tim Hackmann for September 11.
This is the second week in a row, fifth week overall, a Sea Gull has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Salisbury hits the road on Saturday, October 25, as it heads to Leicester, Mass., to take on Becker College at Noon in a non-conference game.
