No change in Top 13 of the AFCA poll

WACO, Texas - The Salisbury University football team remained ranked No. 9 in the country in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll after the Sea Gulls posted a 56-20 win over Morrisville State College last Saturday afternoon.

The Sea Gulls scored 42 points in the second half and improved to 7-0 on the season as the maroon and gold registered its 10th consecutive win dating back to last season.

The first 13 teams all remained the same in the AFCA poll as Atlantic Central Football Conference foe Wesley is ranked No. 12 for the second straight week.

Salisbury moved up one spot to No. 11 in the D3football.com poll just one position behind the Wolverines.

The Sea Gulls return to action on Saturday, October 20, as they host Becker College for the 2007 Homecoming game. The 1 p.m. game at Sea Gull Stadium is the final regular season home game of the season for SU.
