No change in AFCA poll for SU

WACO, Texas - The Salisbury University football team remained ranked No. 18 in this week's American Football Coaches Association poll just three days after it rolled over Delaware Valley College, 36-16.

SU (4-0) scored 19 points in the fourth quarter en route to the team's seventh consecutive win dating back to last season. The only significant changes in the AFCA poll was previously No. 7 Wesley College dropped to No. 21 after it fell to Montclair State, 27-26 on Saturday. MSU jumped from No. 24 to No. 17.

The Sea Gulls moved up six spots in the D3football.com poll to No. 19 in the country while Don Hansen has the maroon and gold ranked No. 18, up two spots from last week's position.

Salisbury continues Atlantic Central Football Conference play this Saturday (September 29) as it hosts the Apprentice School at 1 p.m. at Sea Gull Stadium. This week's game is one of many Family Weekend activities taking place on the SU campus.
