Offensive line recognized by D3football.com

SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University offensive line paved the way for a 400-yard rushing effort last Saturday afternoon against No. 20 Christopher Newport University and for their effort the unit was recognized by D3football.com as they each garnered a spot on the Team of the Week.

Josh Berman, Jeremy McKinney, Bryan Burdalski, David Preston and Chris Reeves opened the holes and allowed the Sea Gull offense to post their highest offensive output of the season (433 total yards). The Sea Gulls had one 100-yard rusher, two more players run for over 80 yards and they scored all five touchdowns on the ground.

The Sea Gulls' 35-21 win over then No. 20 Christopher Newport propelled Salisbury to No. 18 in the country in the first American Football Coaches Association poll released earlier this week.

SU has started 3-0 for the first time since 2005 and will look to continue its momentum as it hosts Delaware Valley College on Saturday, September 22, at 1 p.m. at Sea Gull Stadium.
